Safe Triple Bunk Beds

With all the stories of kids falling off their beds and ending up with broken limbs or some other sort of injury, many parents don’t like the idea of having their kids sleep on bunk beds. This is probably what has held many back from getting triple bunk beds no matter how much space and money can be saved with their purchase. True, safety is a very important factor to consider but it shouldn’t be assumed that all bunk beds are unsafe. There are really many new designs that have safety features. Here are two of such.

The loft bed

This bed is shaped like an L with last bed forming a right angle with the second bunk. This is far safer than the original design of beds which had all three bunks stacked one on top of the other. With this bed, you will only have the height of a normal bunk bed with two people being able to sleep on top. Another thing that is good about this kind of bed is that the space underneath the third bed can be used for whatever you want. Some come with a set of drawers attached to the bed or even a study table and chair.

The pop out bed

In this design instead of the third bed being on the top bunk, it is on the lower one. The bed is hidden underneath the lower bunk and when needed, can be easily pulled out. This way, you will only have one person sleep on the top bunk while the rest can be safe at the bottom.

Both of the two kinds of triple bunk beds also come with additional safety features like railings and padding. As long as you are careful and make sure your bed is complete in its safety features, you will have an ideal bed for your kids.
